About us
Founded in 2021 by real‑estate veteran Ayesha Khan and software entrepreneur Bilal Ahmed, RentalHub was born from the frustration of manual rent collection, ad‑hoc maintenance calls, and lost paperwork that plagued Pakistan’s rental market. Based in Karachi’s Business Bay, the founders assembled a multidisciplinary team of property managers, legal advisors, and full‑stack developers to create a unified solution tailored to local regulations and market practices.
Our mission is to professionalize property management across Pakistan by combining human expertise with user‑friendly technology. We recognize the diversity of Pakistan’s housing—from single‑room apartments in bustling Saddar to suburban villas in DHA—and built RentalHub’s platform to flexibly adapt with customizable lease templates, automated rent reminders, and multilingual support in Urdu and English. Early pilots in Lahore and Islamabad refined our workflows: digital rent ledgers synced with tenant mobile wallets like Easypaisa and JazzCash; GPS‑enabled maintenance dispatch for electricians, plumbers, and cleaners; and automated NOC and utility‑bill filings with DHA, LDA, and CDA.
Since launching nationwide in early 2022, RentalHub has onboarded over 1,500 landlords managing more than 5,000 units, processing in excess of PKR 200 million in rent payments, and coordinating 10,000+ maintenance tasks—all through our secure SaaS dashboard and mobile app. Our client‑satisfaction rate stands at 96 %, driven by features such as: instant property performance analytics, dynamic pricing recommendations based on market demand data, and a comprehensive document vault storing scanned tenancy agreements, deposit records, and inspection reports.
Central to our ethos is trust and compliance. RentalHub’s legal team continuously monitors updates to the Punjab Rented Premises Act, Sindh Tenancy Act, and Islamabad District Rent Control Regulations—automatically pushing lease‑addendum templates and renewal notices to landlords and tenants. We also partner with licensed real‑estate agents to provide vetted tenant screenings, verifying CNICs, credit histories, and landlord references to minimize risk.
Looking ahead, RentalHub plans to integrate AI‑driven predictive maintenance—forecasting when HVAC systems or plumbing may require servicing—plus expand to mobile‑app–only “Tenant Portal” features such as in‑app maintenance photo submissions, community notices for building events, and neighborhood service recommendations. As we grow into Peshawar, Quetta, and Multan by 2025, our unwavering promise remains: to elevate Pakistan’s rental experience through professionalism, transparency, and innovative technology, ensuring every property under RentalHub’s care is managed with precision and integrity.
